so, to get things started...* happy holidays!

1990twelve was a splendid year for freezepop and we're hoping that 1990thirteen brings even more fun and music into your lives.*

and here's what you get to look forward to from freezepop in the upcoming months:
~for the dj's and hardcore fans out there, ultra limited edition [numbered] blue 12" records containing exclusive remixes of "Bike Thief."
~yet another exclusive remix of "Bike Thief" will appear on the Cleopatra Records 3-CD compilation of electro and synthpop artists, past and present, to be released in feb or march.
~one of our new songs, "super-sprode," (written as a tribute for all our fans out there) will be in AMPLITUDE, the Playstation2 sequel to Frequency.
~we'll also have other great new remixes showing up on compilations and vinyl by ninthwave and ADD records, intellectos records, uncharted audio, and things to come records, just to name a few.
~we promise to have a brand new full length cd out as well! come see us live to hear some of the new songs...

and dj brad-r spinning electroclash, new wave, and post punk.
all ages! $8, doors at 10.
also, a release party for the electro-nouveau compilations!
saturday, january 4 - at tt the bear's, in cambridge, ma
the mime crime benefit
with skating club, dirty doctors 2600, and ad frank.
we're going on at 11, but you really should come early and stay late,
because it's going to be an amazing evening of eclectic music. and warm fuzzies.
and maybe even a kissing booth. 18+, $8, doors at 8:30.



so there you have it...should be an exciting year all around!!

This is all very good news.

I had not heard any freezepop before, but the two tracks on Electro Neuvau blew me away, especially Bike Theif which is the best track on there.

Sounds sweet! Playstation games, well known genre label compilations, very very cool!

Now when is a remix cd comign out featuring mixes by VNV, Apop, Covenant, Icon of Coil, Funker Vogt, Daniel Myer, and BT coming out? ^_^

sounds like a nice year for freezepop

the moonshine compilation suprised me just with the obvious standout acts on it.

it had your basic electroclash material on it, then i started noticing a few bands from here listed on it.

needless to say i bought it and have been too perky since.

very exciting, indeed! i hope they make it back out to CA!!! i couldn't catch their set too well at synthcon... and they are one of my favorite synthpop bands :(
