Well I came, I went, I had a blast, and it's official, Toad The Wet Sprocket rawked on their first live date back in almost 7 years!!!
I saw them last night as they opened for Counting Crows at Universal Amphitheatre, and they did not disappoint...Heh, it was great I even got a call from Reagan of Iris and let him listen in on some of Good Intentions...Oh what a blast we all had, a great night for music!!! :D
Heres the setlist:
All I Want
Brother
Dam Would Break
Something's Always Wrong
Good Intentions
~New Song~ Untitled
Walk On The Ocean
Crazy Life
Fall Down
And as a bonus, Glen said that they are going to be sticking around awhile as they're having a lot of fun playing together again...So um, be on the lookout for more Toad music in the near future :)

To me, the best news is that they're going to be working together again for a while...According to what Dean said during the set, "time has healed all of our old wounds".Can this mean a new album??? Too hard to say, they never eluded to it, but they did play a song that according to Glenn was only 3 weeks old, and was untitled at the moment...It was great!!! :)

BTW if you guys dig Toad, be sure to check out Todd, Dean, and Randy's new band Lapdog...They are the perfect substitute for those missing Toad years...I can promise you they won't disappoint :)

Also check out a song called "Darkest Hour" from Glen's solo effort, Abulum. I believe it's a free dowload at www.glenphillips.com Incredible. There's also some talk of Toad in the upcoming Iris interview in Side-Line.
For those not too familiar with the band, buy Coil, the last album they released. Their finest moment.
