It looks to be a great album, and I'm really looking forward to heaing it. It does have a lot to measure up to with the excellent "Time To Speak", but I'm pretty sure that I'll be just as thrilled with this album!

Well, I preordered this one so it should arrive on my doorstep tomorrow. I will let everyone know how it is, but if it is anything like "Time to Speak" I know it'll be a great album!

Hey Michael & Splotschi :)

Well...I just finished listening to the new album, since it was one of three CDs Todd sent me this week, and what can I say....It's fantastic!
Already hitting the replay on it. Congrats on another excellent album. Now get to work on the 3rd one! ::cracks the whip:: hehehe
I noticed you had a show on the 30th of last month. Hope that went well. Maybe you can give us some details on how it went.

Iīm pleased to see, that the first comment about "You" is a good one ;). I canīt wait to receive it myself, as I havenīt heard the mastered and finished version yet. And Iīm curious if the cover looks like expected.
As for the gig in Berlin on 11/30/02 I will put some informations on my site soon. Until now I couldnīt, because it was very busy at work during the last few days. But now I have some free days.
This gig was part of the Electromotion festival 2002, a self organized event of a couple of German electro bands like Das Schwarze System, NewVember, Nitefall (who did not play this year), Human Decay (they didnīt play too) and WAVE IN HEAD. Beside those bands we had London 86 and Massivebass live on stage. DJ Fletch spinned during the breaks and after the show. Splotschi stayed at home because chameleons are not too interested in music.
The venue was a big hall (H.O.F.23) and the technical conditions were kind of desasterous. There is always a bit of chaos when and Electromotion event starts :). After 3 hours of soundchecking and finding out, how the main mixer works, the technician told us, that he actually is the light - guy and that he does not know, how the sound devices work. That was the direct way into insanity and so a couple of artists were artfully yelling at each other, blaming whoever looked like being responsible for the situation.
However we made it, to get the whole thing working and the event went astonishingly smooth. This time I was the first to play. The crowd was happy. I gave away a hand full of preview CDRs (a teaser with 6 tracks from both albums with my URL on it), talked a while to the guys from Melotron, swaped numbers, drank a massive amount of cola, watching Massivebass moving the walls accustokinetically with his drumkit and had a nice evening while getting deaf and tired.
The way back from Berlin is another story...

I've listened to the new album only once, so this is a early evaluation. But It's a really, really strong follow-up to "Time To Speak". There is a more even split between German and English language tracks this time around. The only track I thought was a little uneven was "We Are The Scene". After that, I greatly enjoyed the whole album.

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the opportunity of singing with you on 'We Are The Scene', it's both a top class song and album. You should be very proud of it, my friend!
