Does anyone know if Steinburgs new system link will support re-wire as well as vst instruments ?

(I have reason and SX running on one computer, and would like to run them on seperate computers.)

No, Steinberg's system link is only supported by Cubase and Nuendo. However, one way to do this would be to have Cubase on both computers, and load a new empty session (which doesn't take much CPU) on the computer you want to us Reason with. The turn on the rewire channels and start Reason. Now, both computers are synced up using system link and you're able to use Reason on one computer and a heavy Cubase session on the other :-)

If you have a legal copy of SX you were able to keep your old copy of Cubase VST which will be updated soon so that you can use system link with it. So you don't even have to buy a second copy!

Take care,
Ken

Sorry : I actually meant the new v-stack product, but your conclusion is pretty much the way I thought it worked.

Like you say, I do still have my copy of 5.1 and so can use it like this if 5.2 is ever released !
