Part of the band formed the band now known as Scooter in europe. The keyboardist for the band has recently re-formed the band under the name Celebrate The None.

Celebrate the None was a joke. They released some stuff to see if anyone would remember the name.

If so, it was a very bad joke. That track was awful, and the remake of "Will You Be There" was almost as bad if not worse!

What I know the "Nun" of CTN means really "None", but in German.
I read HP's words about how the name CTN comes out.

In was in a record store earlier this week and noticed that CTN offshoot Scooter have a greatest hits album out in the US. I think that this is the first proper album that Scooter got released here, even though they've been on a million different "Mortal Kombat" soundtracks. I never really could get into Scooter myself, and am sorry to hear that Celebrate The None haven't brought out a return to form. Newbie's can check out http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/30/celebrate_the_nun.html for some classic synthpop tracks.

Yeah for as old and far back as they've been gone, it's funny to see they have a hosted page on mp3.com :)
Celebrate The None is horrible, nothing like the original, and HP Baxter will be the first to tell you, it's an insult of their former name and image...
If you want good rocking out techno the old school way check out Scooter...Scooter took me a while to get into, but damn they rock :)
I've searched and searched, and this link is the only one I could find on the original Celebrate The Nun:

I'm pretty sure H. P. did the vocals for Celebrate the None. Idont know where the interview I read about it went, but its pretty amusing.

The first time that I listen Scooter I really hate it!
The first 2 albums are very bad, with 2 or 3 audible songs only.
But after that they start to do some songs that reminds alot the old CTN.
They have some fantastic songs between the techno hits. If you want to buy a CD, buy "No Time To Chill" that have many great songs, is his best album for sure.
The best of isn't really so good because all his techno hits are inside and his best b-side songs are out. The good thing that comes with "No Fate" one of his best songs.
Try to buy the double DVD that really rocks! one with a full live show and other with all videos released aside many extras.
I recommend a lot! Some videos are fantastic, like "She's the Sun", "Breack it up" and of course "No Fate".

No, this interview are 100% worng, HP never did any vocals to Celebrate the None, he made to the original one Celebrate the NUN.
And Celebrate The None had already 3 vocalist in about 1 year.
The first one recorded the "will you be there" demo on his page,
are regular, the second recorded the song "spread your wings" at Russian Strike CD, this vocalist is good. And Now they changed again the vocalist to the worst until now, the new single was VERY dissapointing unfortunately. :(
I wish Slim could find a 4th vocalist soon as possible!

Yeah when I heard Spread Your Wings on the Russian Strike cd, I was really looking foward to the new material, I thought they had a chance to still have a great sound...Then like many times I get duped, and we all get a new singer who feels the need to talk about nothing more than Arthur and his damn Ginger Bisquits

Yeah, the new CTN will be better only instrumental, that is something really good aside the bad vocals/lyrics.

This thread is really interesting to me.
Celebrate the Nun's album "Meanwhile" from '89 is one of my all time favorites. I still listen to it regularly to this day.
I hadn't heard of Celebrate the *None* before this thread. How dorky! :) I'll have to check out some of their music, just for laughs.

So Celebrate the None is only Ricky? The Origional synth player, and Scooters synth player?

No, CTNone are Slim and few others that changed many times in few months.
Rick Jordan still a Scooter member only.
