Will anything Box be playing any material from the still-unreleased "The Effects Of Stereo TV"?

Does anyone acknowledge that by scheduling a week later they would secure a much larger crowd? I already know several people who can't make it on account of Thanksgiving and I'm sure there will be more. I'm just, like.... ahh well forget it. anyway, I would suggest changing it. Early December. Or something. Anything. I can't even dream up an explanation for this date. Who is promoting, btw?

I'm seriously considering forgoing my holiday with the family this year in favor of attending this show...Joel if I take the road trip out there, we'll have room in our car for you :)

I think Abox should be opening for Provision. Provision's sound is far superior to anything Abox will dream of putting out now. It would be a sweet show.

"I think Abox should be opening for Provision."

oh c'mon now. *blushes* it is truely an honor to open for anything box considering they're one of our biggest influences. for me...it is a dream come true. our mentors are red flag, abox, insoc, and dm. i thought we reached our peak when we played with red flag, but it just keeps getting better. two down...two to go!! i will die a very happy woman the day we share the stage with dm....i'll keep dreaming. seriously though, thank you for your comment, even though i somewhat beg to differ. i just don't know what to say when someone says we've surpassed our influences. i'm just gonna take it as a huge compliment, and i really can't thank you enough!

the owners of club spy are the ones who booked the band. the show is on a wednesday, and most college kids (like myself) are out of school. some people don't have work on thursday, and it will be a somewhat early show. i also wish the show were on a friday or saturday, or maybe even a week later than the scheduled date, but these are things that are out of my control. i think we'll have a good turnout regardless. i really hope to see you there, but if not...i understand.

btw...i LOVE the new single!!

SPY is Famous for Doing their Pre-Thanksgiving Show Every year on that Wensday Night. A Lot of people Coming Home from School, and Coming into Town always attend.

The show that Night will be Huge, and I really Don't think that Having on that Night is going to affect the Turnout in a Negative Way.
I don't want to start Controversy over this But Thanksgiving is Overrated just Like Christmas. An American holiday Generated to Spend Money and Generate Economy.
(Damn I sound Like Sevenex from U-N-I Talking)

I Mean really. What do we have to be Thankful For???
I'm Thankful Everyday of My Life, I don't need to Have a Day To be Thankful On With Everyone Else.

Moving On...

Last Year Club SPY had "Book Of Love" Play on that Night, and the Show Sold Out.
Provision was actually asked to open for that Show as Well, but Couldn't due to the Fact that My Baby Son was only 5 Months Old at the Time, and I Could Not Secure a Sitter.
Another Local Musician "Kat Jones" Opened the Show Instead.

The Show will Be Promoted by Club SPY & Provision (Red Square Digital). SPY has some of the Best Promotion in Houston. They Run Both Press & Radio Ads unlike Most of the Clubs in this City.

And My Team (RSD) is One of the Best Promotional Teams in the State. We'll cover More Ground than anyone else can in Houston, for Sure!!!
This show is Defnately One Not to Be Missed.

I Will Put You Guys up at My Place if you come in For this Show.
I Do Not, and wouldn't ever expect you to come all the way from L.A. for this, but If you Did, what a Time we'd have!!!!!

Miss You Dan!!!!

You know thats a very tempting offer Breye, and trust me, I'm really thinking about it...I mentioned it to Mike tonight, and he was up for it, it's just a matter of getting the time off of work and a little extra money I think...I'll keep you posted on it :)

Hey Joel, I'd bump some Snoop D.O.Double G. just for you all the way there, we'd be laid back with our minds on our money, and our money on our minds

Is there any information on dates in December past the first week? I know that Provision is playing with Ctrl the first week in December. I would love to see that show, but I am still working. I am hoping that they play during Winter Break when I can make the drive out there and hopefully drag Dan and Mike along with me. ;)

Oh you won't have to drag us, we'll follow along like a couple of poppy dogs

And um Joel, if you bust out the new Iris, I'll love you man...I won't even ask you for your Bud Light either, just hearing the new Iris before Steph is enough for me ;)

The new Low Techs rules too, I just checked out some of the new stuff on mp3.com yesterday, and I really dig it :)

Ok, I am not going to take what you said well. It seems that everyone but me will have heard the new cd. :( :sobbing: I totally give up!!!! You may be kidding, but I am not. I am tired of seeing people posting that they are listening to the new album. I totally give up on this whole thing. You all think it's funny, but I don't. I am frustrated beyond belief. It hurts to see that people are in the loop and given access while all I am is just a dumb old fan who fawns over them. I give up! I am officially out of here!
