Greetings Music Lovers!

It's time for another update on some of the great stuff that's happening at Gothic Paradise. Let's jump right in...

[Weekly Feature]
Girls Under Glass
Hailing from Hamburg, Germany this group has proven themselves in the music scene over the past 16 years with their excellent talents and dynamic musical styles. They combine Industrial with Gothic and EBM and have about as many different styles as they do albums. Each album portrays something a little different, some with more guitar-laiden tracks while others are heavily synthpop and dance friendly. With the release of Minddiver in 2001, they embark on an excellent journey with the release of one of their greatest albums to date. They have released the Frozen EP and Erinnerung single since then and are scheduled to release a new single this month. Following this single they should have a new album to follow. It's with pleasure that I feature this group this week with a review of Minddiver and selections featured on Gothic Paradise Radio. More info: www.gothicparadise.com/gug.htm

[Updates]
Decoded Feedback - Overdosing
Presenting the first album released by this excellent Industrial/EBM group. "Overdosing" was originally released on Cleopatra Records in the USA, but was never released in Europe. By popular demand, Dying Culture Records has re-released this album after having been totally digitally remastered with other added bonuses. More info: www.gothicparadise.com/decoded_feedback.htm

Dominion III - Life Has Ended Here
The Apocalyptic Electronic trio known as Dominion III are back with their 7-track, 45-minute long sophomore release. Delving more into the unique mixture of Industrial, Gothic and Metal influences, they pull it all together for another great release. Fans of the first album and those of their Darkwave side project Dargaard will enjoy this album. More info: www.gothicparadise.com/dominion.htm

Be sure to check them out... if you prefer the more dancey synthpop, EBM, Industrial and danceable gothic music, then the Club Mix is for you. If you're into the more somber side of the Ethereal, Ambient and just all around more relaxing music, the the Ethereal Mix is for you. And if you just don't have a fast connection, then check out the Gothic Paradise @mp3.com show. New music added from E Nomine, Dominion III, Decoded Feedback, Virtual Server, Wumpscut, Siddal, Jack or Jive, Girls Under Glass and many more.

Virtual Server - Wide Awake
Virtual Server is the project conceived by DJ Ram of Russia featuring guest vocalists from many of the great synthpop bands all over the world. With the release of the "Wide Awake" single, you have more tracks than many albums have presented as different remixes. For this single, "Wide Awake" features Stean Netschio from Beborn Beton on vocals adding his suave voice to an emotional mid-tempo synthpop ballad. Also presented as a "b-side" track is "A Voice" featuring Nate Nicoli of B!Machine fame. This track is even slower and more of a ballad than the title track. However with so many different remixes on this single, it's amazing there can be so many interpretations. 9 tracks are featured in all with driving remixes of "Wide Awake" by Shades of Grey, Carpe Diem and Clan of Xymox. This "Sleepy Mix" by this legendary group is quite different from what you would expect from them lately, leaving out their guitars and Gothic elements they've been featuring, and just create a "dreamy" version of this mid-tempo ballad. This is a great single and a great preview of the new album by this unique project. Rating: 3.5/5
