Less than a week to go! We are all obviousely very psyched about this night. This may turn out to be one of the biggest SWARM events ever, and certainly one of the coolest shows to come thru town this year. We need 100+ people to break even, which im pretty confident we will do. And if we get enough of you out in support, we have another ¤¤¤¤¤ing wicked show lined up for nov/dec... Lets just say a mexican electro band who's name sounds like "Moseeko", and one of the biggest names in industrial music, which kinda sounds like "Cow Job". :)

Metropolis Records recording artists Imperative Reaction LIVE in concert with local industrial heroes Solemn Assembly!

Friday, September 27th, 2k2

Imperative Reaction will be bringing along copies of both their albums, as well as two different T-Shirts to sell [one design was perpetrated by the SWARM's own DJ :insect.] Solemn Assembly will have discs for your needy collections as well.

As an extra-special bonus to all you bad ass Dallasites, we at the SWARM have run off an extremely limited edition of five SWARM-only Imperative Reaction tour shirts. The image is from the posters you may have seen around town, and has the date and "North American Tour 2002" on it. These will be given away for FREE the night of the show to express our gratitude for your continued support and patronage.

DJ Caustic and DJ :insect will be warming the floor with a volley of
industrial and EBM beats, and beautiful big-screen motion graphix by 8th Circuit and Level 213 will illuminate the dancefloor.

Imperative Reaction's new album "Ruined" debuted as the number one seller at industrial-music.com, Metropolis' own online store, beating out VNV Nation, Icon of Coil, and Funker Vogt. Their first album "Eulogy for the Sick Child" has remained one of the mainstays of modern industrial, with tracks like "Scorpio" and "The Longing" tearing up dancefloors regularly since 1999. Arguably the best release from the now defunct Pendragon label.

Solemn Assembly has been making waves in Dallas for over 10 years, and is the musical brainchild of Church resident DJ Joe Virus, also the man behing the TIAMP produktion group. Their live show will incorporate members of Audio Paradox, Cyberwhore, and Quadrezkill, and is sure to rattle the walls of the RBC.

This is a night not to be missed. Doors open at 9pm, tickets are only $9 for everyone 18+. There will be FREE food and cigarettes at the bar, as well as FREE promo CDs. Requests will be honored - to make sure theyre played, email swarmclub@hotmail.com ahead of time with your requests.
