Hey, I've been listening to this band called Covenant for over a year now and they make some deep industial music. I never see any threads about them I was wondering if anyone else in this forum has heard of them....listen to them frequently......don't like them....or just don't give a s**t...hehe....thanx a lot....sargonic1

Absolutely! Covenant are one of my favorite bands. I received an advanced copy of their new disc "Northern Light" and it is awesome. The "Call the Ships to Port" single is excellent and worth picking up also.

I liked Covenants Theremine EP. I think after that they got stuck in a rut. Everything after this sounds like they used the same loops and samples with different lyrics. Kind of like VNV. I can hardley tell which song is which on any of their CDs.

I and Strangemale saw them as a "foreband" to DAF in the 199something....

Got bitten by the bug, still are a HUGE Covenant Fan!
Were going to the Tinitus Festival on the 8th of November in Stockholm!!!

Interesting what Ekstasis wrote. I've always preferred the older material, Dreams of a Cryotank, Sequencer, Europa/EP, to much of the newer stuff. Those sounds just had a groove that rocked. Not saying the newer stuff is bad ( i like it), it's just a bit rehashed as was stated. As far as live shows go, Covenant is perhaps the most energetic and fun band to see...even better than VNV. See them if you can!

Well it's nice to see so much enthusiasm for Covenant. To bad for me I don't know where in hell to find their original cds....all i have ar crummy mp3s...I busted a rhyme....woohooo...anyone know of a website i can order them from?

Covenant are fantastic! The new single "Call the ships to port" is their biggest selling single to date (I think) and their latest album (Northern Lights) is highly anticipated.

Hey thanks a lot Tekkrokk, I knew about www.adifferentdrum.com, but not www.musicnonstop.co.uk but I'll be sure to check it out. Right now I'm kinda deciding between about 50 artist of which to purchase their album first. Covenant is one of them, but thanx for your input. It's greatly appreciated.
