Wow you are harder on the Cowboys than I ever would have been.
Good luck on your hoopster search. Maybe Mark Cuban will discover you on the mean streets of Dallas and sign you to a multi million dollar deal?

I'm not in the Dallas area, but I do play hoops on Sundays and Wednesdays. Do you play indoors or out Stargazer??? Can't imagine playing b-ball outdoors in Dallas this time of year with all that humidity. We had 19 guys show up yesterday and 28 people the week before. That's a lot of guys for one court. Half of them only last 3 or 4 games so it's alright.

Sounds like you were playing a couple of punks Stargazer. Can't stand guys like that!!! You and Michael need to come play with us in AZ. Most of us don't talk any trash because we'll never be NBA caliber. Gotta know your limitations. We usually play for three or four hours, so a couple weeks of that would get you in great shape. Let me know if you're ever going to be in the Phoenix area and I'll hook you up. Cheers!!!

yes i like what you said about 15-20 people going out and playing usually when me and stargazer go play ball we end up playing one on one or just shooting around,i miss playing full court games thats what i love 5 on 5 full court in a nice gym
i have never talked trash in the 16 years i have been playing ball but i have gotten into some fights with people talking smack i would rather let my game do the talking for me

I play ball every once and a while on Sunday. The main reason I don't play more often other then that I suck at bball is that my glasses always seems to get damaged whenever I go play basketball. :)
Ultimate Frisbee on Wednesday is more my thing,

I used to play ball a few times a week back in high school, I even played on the team for my high school my sophomore year, but I was nothing special really...I had a really good three point/outside jumper thats about it...
I'd like to play more now, but I'm too fat, lazy, and out of shape...

i was recruted to play on my high school team but they sucked really bad so i chose not to play which i regret because i would have looked like a superstar on that team, these guys were missing fast break layups,i was never into the whole organized sports thing i liked playing on the streets and i skated to much to play ball for a team

Ultimate Frisbee is a very difficult game. It's kind of like football played with a Frisbee. You have to run to get open, then catch the Frisbee, then stop and throw to the next person down the field. You can't run at all with the Frisbee. The whole time you're doing this, you have a defender covering you. It's a continuous stop, run, and throw exercise. If you or one of your teammates drops the Frisbee before you reach the end zone, it's a turnover and the other team gets to head toward their end zone. If you are not already in pretty good shape, I would not recommend playing this game. We used to play it all the time when I ran cross country in college. Anyone who's stupid enough to run cross country is crazy enough to play Ultimate Frisbee. Like me!!! :D

Ultimate frisbee rocked during p.e. in high school!!! Although you know, it did nothing but wonders to my ankles at the time...Too much stop and go I guess :)

One other thing about Ultimate Frisbee. You don't stop until one team has scored. So a single point can take quite a while. It helps to be able to throw the frisbee many different ways. Backhand, quick throws, long throws, etc. Its a lot of fun, but a lot of work.
One other really important thing. Get a good frisbee. It really really makes the game better when the frisbee actually works. 175grams is the correct weight no supermarket cheapie here, the correct size makes a difference also. I bought one fris that was the correct weight but was a little bigger then normal and it was a little harder to play with.

Today I had to sit in my car for 5 min before going of to work because there was a good layer of ICE on all my windows. I couldn't see a thing. I hadn't bought any ice scrappers yet because I just got the car in June. Well today after work I went and picked some up. :)
The low last night was 32F. It got all the way up to 60F today.
This is Minnesota we get crazy weather,

I hate you guys, I really do...You know how hot it got here today around my house??? 101 degrees, and a bit of humidity thrown in to help my sinuses clog up just enough to plague my entire day off...I was so miserable today I slept most of it...To top it all off, we have a huge brush fire burning a few miles away and ash from the brush is flying through the air everywhere around here...
But other than that I'm perfect ;)
