Do any of the DJs know if there's a way for us to check the statistics on our personal pages? I'm not getting many referrals to my personal site from Electrogarden, but that doesn't mean a lot of people aren't checking out my playlits, archives, etc.

And Electrogarden tech staff - thanks so much for putting this all together!! It's nice to see this community growing, and we know how much work you've put into it.

But back to the question - stats anyone??

Thanks for the support, it takes alot of work to design, create and maintain this site with full time jobs elsewhere.

Do you mean statistics of referrals to your linked pages from your EGN page or statistics on how many people visit your EGN page?

There are plenty of people viewing the DJ pages here on the site and the pages are bookmarked in search engines too. People find the pages by searching for artists and tracks that DJ's includ in their playlists and such.

It would help if we had more DJ's actively keeping their page updated. We have many requests for DJ pages and we approve some of them but the people never respond or the ones that do, never update their page or worse, never even fill out initially. That is what is so hard about maintaining a DJ page section. It is really hard to figure out who is for real.

I have a question about the Dj pages.

Is it possably to upload a mix in MP3 for people to listen to? Maybe even have a rating system like on the artists pages.

I dont know much about websites, and have been having trouble finding a place to do this.

Yes, it is possible. And actually we were not ready to do it before, but we can now. We are planning on allowing each DJ to post up to 50MB of mix mp3's. Once we get a few submissions we will roll this out.

How exactly shall we (DJs) submit these mixes? And will it matter what they consist of? For example, will they be restricted to synthpop (which is prevalent on this site) or is that up to the DJ's discretion?

Thanks for the info,

The only restriction is that it be Electronic Music and you must be a DJ with an EGN page which means that you must be an active, real DJ that updates the page here at least twice a month.

I was referring to how many people visit our EGN pages, but it sounds like quite a few are coming by! Glad to hear that.

Thanks for the info about the mixes as well. I remember asking about it a few months ago, but never followed up to see where it was at. I'll have to get going!

And it's a shame DJs don't keep up with their pages. I find it easy to update mine each week (or rather, as necessary) and I see many other DJs who do so as well.
