Or are you all still like me, waiting for it to arrive? If anybody has gotten a copy, please post your review!

Todd emailed me yesterday that he probably won't get these, nor the new Melotron album, in for a few more weeks. He's moving soon and that will delay things a bit.
Although I'm really looking forward to these releases, it's too much of a hassle for me, personally, to bother with overseas distribution outlets. Todd has been good to me for years (6!!), I usually only support him. He does the best he can.

I don't have the retail copy, but I have seen the tracklist and heard all the songs, so I can tell you a bit about it. Personally I'd only recommend it either to collectors, hardcore Mesh fans or people who insist on having every available remix of every song (like me). Not that the album is bad - it's just made up of tracks from various (already released) Mesh albums/singles. There are no exclusive tracks (that I can think of), and I can only recall about 3-4 new remixes.
So if you already have all the Mesh singles then I'd have to say, don't bother with Fragmente 2. However, if you're a Mesh fan who's been unable (or unwilling) to go out and buy every one of their singles (there's quite a few, I know) then Fragmente 2 might just be what you've been waiting for.
Hope that helps a bit,
DJ Darktide

I'm sad with the songs at Fragment 2, I already have almost of them and I'm sad to buy all these songs again. :/
they have so much great unreleased tracks, some other exclusive remixes that only appeared in few compilations, and NO ONE was released on that CD.
very sad. :/

Well, it's perfect for people like me who have all of the mesh albums already, but don't have any of the singles...I'm just not a big fan of buying singles in general. :)

Yes, the cd arrived from the mesh shop yesterday in just one week after I ordered it!
Then, I'm sure that as most of the mesh fans, this compilation deceives quite a lot. No new stuff, no special unreleased stuff. Something which we already knew before (of course!) when reading the tracklist.
I'm one of those who thinks that mesh should release an excellent dvd (despite the costs!) soon, before it's too late. Wolfsheim's poor, Depeche Mode's very good, but mesh can show they can do it better!!!

There has been talk of a mesh dvd. :)
Fragmente 2 was a Memento Materia release. It was their attempt to cash in on mesh's success. That is why there was no new material included.

Still waiting to receive my copy from Music Non Stop - no doubt they got a big load of orders for it so there's a bit of a backlog.
Still, I'm a patient person up to a point.... :)

That's who I ordered my copy from. That's NOT good that you don't have your copy and you live in the UK. I live in California, and it will take me even longer to get mine. :(

I think a lot of people ordered it from them because of the reduced price... I hope there's not any problem here. Has anyone here ordered from Music Non Stop before and had a good experiance?

I thought I was a mesh fanatic but after all this spring's live shows I kinda have a mesh overkill. Fragmente 2 disappointed me because there is absolutely nothing new on it. Even the snare mixes are easy to getī, even for a dumbhead like me! I'd advise you'd rather get the Singles than Fragmente 1 or 2. The fact that they released the same material as on the singles again has lowered my opinion about them a bit.

Fragmente 2 is great - yes, I've got most of the mixes somewhere, but it's good to have them all together in one place. I was a bit surprised by "Remember who you were" - I've not heard that version before. The snare mixes are a great addition to my collection too!
I ordered my copy from the mesh shop on the day it was released, and it was delivered within 2 weeks.

I just got my email notice from Music Non Stop that my copy has shipped. I eagerly look forward to hearing the cd(s). Is the version of "Remember Who You Were" the version from the Original 91-93 cd or from the Not Prepared MCD (german version)?

It'll be the version from the Not Prepared CD, as that's considered to be the "studio" version as opposed to the demo version on the 91-93 CD. Plus, 91-93 was released on Tolerance (Mesh's in-house label), not Memento Materia, so I doubt MM own the demos.
Strangely enough, the studio version of this song was actually recorded back in 1995 (the music at least, not sure about the vocals). I know this because I have a live version from that time which is exactly the same arrangement! Curious... I personally prefer the "Remembering" remix/demo over the other two versions...

I am the exact opposite. I prefer the version on the Not Prepared single. I just love how they added the water sound when Mark sings about it: "The water's fresh and clean. It's wiping the dirt away."
My copy of Fragmente 2 shipped yesterday as well. I think it will be hitting my mailbox around the time the new iris single arrives. This is going to be fun!

I received Fragmente 2 yesterday from MNS. It's worth its weight in gold! I already had most of the albums, but not all the singles. The compilation filled in all the gaps in my Mesh collection. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Wow! That's interesting that you got your copy yesterday and I got mine on Thursday. I live in California and I got mine quicker than you did (well, by a day). I would have thought that you would have had yours first. Go figure!
