I was doing a lot of searching for old C&E interviews, pics, basically anything I could get my hands on, as I'm trying to build up a scrapbook on them...One of the particularly interesting things I found on a page was an interview where Keith's old band Practice Faith was mentioned...The problem is, nothing was given as to what kind of sound they had, no comparisons in contrast to C&E material, and obviously no discography leads to go off of either...
Does anyone have any info on Practice Faith??? Is this really a band Keith was a member of??? Any info would be awesome :)
Thanks!!!
DAN

I don't have a lot of info to give you but Practice Faith was Keith and Paul (Anything Box). They never released anything but had a few demos including some that Sean Rowley helped produce. They really weren't together that long before breaking up and I'm not sure if they broke up because Keith joined C&E or if they were already broken up by then. Keith wrote It's Over Now during that time which was reworked/rewritten by him and Rob after he joined C&E.

I did in fact hear some Practice Faith demo's and they were pretty cool!! It was total synth driven music with some guitars and Keith singing the vocals. I heard the first version of "It's Over Now" and it had the same drum loop in the chorus it just didn't sound as layered as the "Trip" version it was more synth sounding. I remember some of it sounding kinda like Jesus Jones.
Hey Dan if you like C&E alot then you should check out
Trans Atlantic Crush
The singer sounds alot like Rob!!

That really sucks that you didn't get your cd do you remember which one it was? I would imagine their cd's are hard to come by now days. I really like their music alot and they do sound alot like C&E which is not a bad thing at all. Let me know if you can't find any of their albums.

Hi Lars!!!
First of all buddy, your sooooo lucky to have heard the Practice Faith material, I'd love to hear that stuff!!!
It's so funny that you mentioned Trans Atlantic Crush though...I have their first album (at least I think it is), it's self-titled...My favorite song from it is "All Is Forgiven"...Really cool synth dance stuff on that album, I love it!!! And they are a practically unknown band too...Do you know how many and have any of their other albums they released??? I'd like to get those as well :)
Hey Slippy, I think it might be wise to track down that cd-he he he!!!

I'm not sure if it's available anymore your best bet would be trying to find a used copy. It's a great album and worth the search if you can somehow find it.
good luck!!!
