Martin's wife has given birth to a healthy baby boy, Calo (pronounced KAY-lo) Leon Gore.

I think he has 2 daughters? right? Is Calo from the same mother as the 2 girls... Hmmm I wonder if Calo has curly hair like Mart.. I also think that both Mart and the wife were thinking Halo as the name but Calo sounds cuter... I dont know..

Yes, they have 2 daughters, 'Viva Lee' & 'Eva Lee'

It's weird that he named his son Calo. I'm related to people with that as a last name, pronounced the same way. Oh well, it's original I guess. Never heard of anybody else with that as a first name.

Wow! Congrats!!
i had no idea they were expecting either!

the last time they came to play at madision square garden for exciter our seats were on the floor - in the row behind his wife suzanne and his two girls eva and viva - they are so adorable! i almost lost it when they starting singing the words when martin was singing on stage.

i am sure calo will be a heart breaker too just like dad :)

Can you imagine the pressure on Calo? I kind of feel sorry for him as well as Viva and Eva.

Pressure to be a song writer and be in a band that is as successful or more so than depeche MODE. That's what I was referring to. It's going to be hard for the Gore children.

I donīt think so.
I think Martin will raise his children to be whatever they wanna be. And I really hope that other people expect something from his children!!!! I would never even think the thought.

How old are the other children?

I don't think Martin will pressure his kids at all. I do think that the pressure will come from other people.

Viva was born in 1991
Eva was born in 1993, I think. I don't have the specific dates on either birth.

That would be cute! I hope Martin teaches him how to bounce around on stage and point. :D I wonder if he will have floof like daddy?? ;)

Wow, this question got a lot of replies....I'm new here and just thought I start at this point. I don't beleive Martin will pressure his children in the least. He will feel confortable and supportive of them in any way possible. And yes, I do hope so that Martin teaches them to bounce and point too!!!....this one of the most thrilling aspects of seeing Martin perform, his style is softer and rather coy, but thats Martins nature....AND I'm sure Calo will inherit these 'cute' qualities too!!!!
