*Sob* Well I could loan you money *Sob* but I'd be putting banks out of business if I started going into that. Just tell the record store like you told us, I'm sure it would touch their hearts and they would feel your pain, maybe even set some ends.

I totally feel you man, I've been wanting to go to the store all day today and get a couple cd's and videos on my wented list, and I just had to pay all of my bills for the month...Now I'm stuck until next week to do anything...I was talking with a friend earlier today and he explained; "Dude it's only cd's, it's not like they're gonna be gone next week"...Okay so maybe he's right, but damn I'm fiending now!!!

Besides, knowing my luck, they won't be there when I hit the store next week...I hate working my a** off all week and still having no money to speak of :sobbing:

Ha, I can sooooooo relate to your pain!!!! I just called the bank and I am overdrawn by $ 6.00. The State hasn't passed a budget yet, so I don't know if I will get my August check. I know what it is to be broke!

Poor guys...

Well that´s the problem with living on your own...I still live at home so I have never had that problem.

I wish I could help ...=/

Ugh! I hear ya!

Why is that when you have $, there is nothing to buy, but when you are broke all the gear goes on sale?

Joel Joel Joel.....I'm playing the world's smallest violin for you buddy. Not being able to get those 'rekkids' (obviously the MAN is trying to bring you down, too..those ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤S !!) is surely a travesty. I pledge to form a support group charity to ensure that this cruel, heartless, inconceivable abomination never occurs again.

It will be named, "Starlite, Starbrite" and I have already donated $2 to this cause. Anybody else onboard? Afterall, anybody can buy food and clothing, but how many can actually say they own a rekkid???

(Save atleast 20% of your check) put it in a Credit Union man.

I hate being broke too.. Ugghhhh Xmas is coming in 4 months and I'm still making up from last years Xmas.
HOw come when were seeing our money grow , something happens like an emergency(it could be your breaks, car is broken, need medicine, blah blah blah) and therefore we have to use the money, and start from 0 again..Or something like that.

I understand the problem with bills and waiting to get what you really want. However one way to look at it is, be thankful for what you already have - some people don't even have food or a roof over their head at night and many of us have that and entertainment luxuries.

Joel, I haven't bought a CD in weeks, either! :-( So much on my list, new melotron album and some more singles, need to update my mesh and d/v CD's, Run Level Zero album, more Illuminate stuff... That's a freaking load of €€€€... oh dear. And then the Masses is coming up, too! The ticket prices are unbelieavable this year. :-( Can't wait for October when I'll finally get my new job's pay.

Stargazer doesn't have enough money to buy "rekkids?" :sobbing:

If it's any consolation, I also have the world's smallest violin out for you. :p

I can totally feel your pain Stargazer!!! Have not purchased a cd in a couple months myself due to the lack of extra cash. It's just like CBLifeform said though, you have to appreciate what you have whenever you start feeling deprived. That's the way I look at it too. Regardless, it still SUCKS ASS to not be able to get the music you want. By the way Guyver, you told me you played the organ. Not the violin!!! What's up with that dude??? ;)

Damn I don't think I've listened to that album in what seems like decades...Great band though...So you got the solo down now huh??? Been playing guitar for a long time, or just picking it up:)

Aside from this whole electronic thing, I'm a drummer at heart...Been playing off and on almost 8 years...

Joel, your exactly like me buddy...A big dreamer in a world that doesn't like to dream anymore...But hey us artsy fartsy dreamers are where it's IMO :)

I gotta get to Texas again, I loved it when I went there a few years ago...And hey man if we ever do meet, I'll take you up on that jam session :)

As for Elliot Smith, I don't have anything yet, but as always, I trust your taste so I'll give it a look and see what I find-he he he!!! And Neil Young's The Damage Done is haunting to say the least...I love that song...

Thanks for the info!!! I'm gonna look into checking out Either/Or tomorrow...I got some rekkid buying to do, and you know how it goes...Theres always room to add another one to the list of things to buy:)

So is it fairly commercial stuff though...I mean, can I find it say Tower, or is it more independant???
