What's New With BNI???

I noticed Tim posted that he's tuned into Will I lie 2002...Hmmm??? Could this mean BNI might be re-recording some old Joy Machine tracks??? Frank, Tim, anyone with the inside on BNI...What's going on with you guys??? What should we all be on the lookout for in the near future??? :)

BNI is working on a Joy Machine track here or there to add to their live set from my understanding. Wouldn't it be wonderful if Peter Riley guested for a song or two? I have gotten into Peters Brit Pop band Saint Face as of late as well. You can find Saint Face at mp3 dot com.

I have heard some of the new tracks BNI is working on for their new CD The Atomic Age Playboy (last I heard tentative title and also one of the tracks). Incredible stuff and leaps and bounds ahead of the Still Beautiful Falling Apart which was a great CD in my opinion as well. There has been some talk of West Coast shows for BNI as well.

Just a side note: last time I checked Joy Machine/Brand New Idol held 18 out of the top 20 tracks on the New Wave Charts at MP3 dot com.

Is there a tenative release date for BNI's next album? Whatever happened to the remix album? Will the next album be released through Mp3.com like the first one was?

BNI are working alot with the music lately, and trust me, this is really worth waiting for! The name of the new album is really special, funny! :)

Heard some stuff....this is BNI when they are the best!!!!

BNI's first CD was released through MP3 dot com as well as a higher quality version which is available through Ampcast. The plans for the next CD (last time I heard) is to have an actual "silver" pressing.

Will I Lie 2002! I knew that would get somebody's attention.

We are currently taking a break from live gigs to work on new material for our next album, plus finishing up some older tracks that will appear on our remix album. We are still waiting for all the remixes to come back and have some exciting additions to the remixer roster.

We have decided to add a Joy Machine track to our live set and thought it only fitting to do Will I Lie, Which was our first song as JM. We tweeked it out and gave it a decidedly BNI flavor.

Also, a video for The Notorious Gentleman is currently in production. We plan to release our remix album in conjunction with the video.

Hope that's enough of a fix for all you BNI junkies.
