Urgh! i hate Ultravox, Visage is a bit cheesy!
Perhaps if Bryan Ferry got it together with OMD & a-ha you'd be halfway there (or maybe not!)
With regard to new bands, the new album by Loveless is almost as good as my all time favourite album Forever Young. The songs are just as catchy as those on Forever one song on the Loveless CD (The One) is reminiscent of A Victory Of Love.
Colony 5 also seem to be influenced by Alphaville, I've also read a number of reviews that make comparisons between Leiahdorus and Alphaville, I havent bought the album but Wake is a nice single.
