Well they said so in this interview ... interesting tid bits about pre-Simon Le Bon Duran Duran as well.

Listening to this The Devils (Nick and Stephen new release of pre 1980 Duran Duran material that was never released), I can hear it.
Comments?

Oh thats it...I've seen the talk of The Devils around here lately, and I've never been aware of who it was...And I consider myself a Duranee??? Okay, I gotta get this one like now!!! Is it available at major chains domestically here, or just as an import in independant shops??? Reason I ask, is just so I know if I gotta make room on the credit cards, or can I go get it tomorrow :)

There is no domestic distributor for The Devils as of yet. You can get it at amazon.co.uk however. Might be on import somewhere ... call around

Well, as a psycho Duran fan myself for 20+ years, ALL Duran2 and related side projects are a "10"...so i am biased ;) But honestly it is one of the best albums i've heard in a loooong time...probably the best since Arcadia--So Red the Rose, at least from a Duran perspective...
So yes, please, do what you've got to do, run out, whore yourselves, steal little kid's milk money, and flood amazon.co.uk with requests to get this cd...it doesn't disappoint...and if it does? Well then poop on ya!! :p

Just got this album today : Its not what I expected !
Sounds more like Death in Vegas to me than electroclash. I loved it though ! It reminded me of early (ultravox!) John Foxx.
Ive always been a big fan of the lilac Time, and stephens' solo records though, so that also helps !
