Ampcast = Dead?

I haven't been able to reach Ampcast for days.

Anyone having the same issue?

Anyone know the deal? They going under or just having technical difficulties?

Cliffwalk, as far as I know just tech difficulties. I was on Ampcast less than 48hrs ago. However, you are quite correct..it seems it is currently not possible to access the site. I would imagine if Ampcast were in the midst of a more serious situation, the registered artist (like you and I) would have received some correspondence in explanation. Of course, that is just speculation.

I would hope so as well. I just haven't seen them down for this long, maybe they're hosted in a smaller datacenter or something that just decided to go "lights out" on them.

$50.00 a year to have a place to host my MP3s is one helluva good deal, I hope they're still solvent.

I am able to get to the ampcast site now, but it seems kinda intermitent.

ditto, it seems to be back up but limping along a little... oh well, it's good to see them up, i was starting to worry that they were a casualty.

Yes, I just tapped in this evening. It seems to be moving okay for me right now. I am not really certain what the deal was there. Thanks for the information.
