I'm thinking of buying one... let me know how the Archos is! Any on-line sources?

What do you mean by uploading through line-in/mic? Isn't it always USB or Firewire?

I think I'm going for the Diva, it can also take Compact Flash cards (already have a 128Mb for my digital camera).

Archos is more than a simple MP player.
It's a hard disk, which means that you can store any kind of data you want from one computer to another.
Very usefull when you make music with friends living in different part of France ;-)

I purchased the first one 2 years ago and I love it ; only 6 giga but far enough !

The only point I would discuss is the quality of the headspeaker they sell with the Archos ; buy a good one and keep the other for... don't know..
