Perhaps Assemblage 23 will perform a few of his new songs from the forthcoming album "Defiance". Besides Seabound has composed a brand new song too. So you can really look forward to this event !

Wow thats a pretty full lineup for only 3 days. Makes me wonder how big the venue is it must be pretty big otherwise there wouldn't be that many bands playing. I am sure attendance will be huge to.

Have fun Christina.

The Arvikafestival is a three day outdoors event. It has 6 stages, 5 of them are either covered or indoors. The festival also features vendors, performance artists and this year a tent cinema showing obscure 70:s horror movies...

I am like *so* there... :)

/Jan-Erik (who's looking forward to see Assemblage 23, Run Level Zero, The Cure, Pluxus, Soft Cell and Lucio Fulci's "House By The Cemetary". )

PS: the website (mainly Swedish) is www.galaxen.se

Luke slater was cool, nice show, but nothing spcial.
Assemblage 23. Came 30 minutes after the show had started, kill me, but the part I saw was cool. He played an And one cover. (I missed it). The keyboarder was so funny!
Icon of Coil: The best band together with RLZ, Covenant and Das Ich.
Pluxus: Bored me to death
The 69 eyes...cool gothrock
Infected Mushroom & The delta: Danced my legs off to these bands.
covenant: got the biggest stage, but couldnīt use it too good. Still the music was great and they had the audience with them.
Run Level Zero: Great band!!! They didnīt play Shadows merging though.
Das Ich: First time I saw this band, love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The show was incredible!!! The best Iīve seen on this festival.
Seabound: Finally got to see them. They sad Vielen Dank, and thatīs all I needed to hear. Itīs german!!! Great performance.

When is the next festivaaaaaaaaaal?

Avil, I am glad that you had a great time! That's too bad about The Cure. I have heard mixed reviews about them. :(

Well the thing was that I donīt like Cure from the beginning, but this guy thought that I should give it a chance, so I did that, and was crushed to small pieces thanks to the wonderful screaming audience. The only one that really enjoyed this show must have been the hardcore fans. They only played slow songs noone have heard about...too bad.

Well I have other things to remember :D

Slow songs none have heard about? hhmmm ...
you mean like new songs?
That must've been interesting for the ones who love the Cure. *ahem* me included. :)

Hello everyone, especially you Avil.
I also visited the Arvikafestivalen and had a really good time, great bands weather and people.
Actually Avil was my neighbour at the camping, lived in the tent right next to mine. I found out that it was she when we were discussing Alphaville and she said she is a big fan of them.
I agree with you opinion about the Cure, I wanted to hear som good old songs, like Friday I'm in Love.
The performance I liked the best must have been Covenant, as mentioned before the playd at the largest stage for the first time and they really seemd to enjoy it, the singer had a bid smile on his face during the whole concert.

And Avil, perhaps I will see you at club Tech Noir in Stockholm some time.

Well slow and slow songs, more songs for the hardcore fans to enjoy.

And hey Justicar, nice to see you here! :)
Had a great time, I guess you had it too! (Even though we woke you up while talking in the morning about bombing the American ambassady. LOL)

But Iīm in love with Das Ich now...If anyone can tell me what the third song they played is called...I will cry of happiness or something. :)

And Justicar, Tech Noir, here I come! But first...TINITUS or?? :D
