I was wondering which song some of you got hooked on or maybe the first time you heard De/Vision? The first time I heard "Try to forget" I was hooked on De/vision and then I bought "Fairyland" and loved the whole album. I really like the song "Like the Sun" alot too! If you think about it they have so many great songs from all of thier albums. Here are some of my all-time favorites!! and would make one hell of a CD!!
1.Your Hands On my Skin
2.A Prayer
3.Anywhere
4.Strange Affection
5.Sweet Life
6.Blue Moon
7.Back in my life
8.Try To Forget
9.Silent Moan
10.Drowning Souls
11.Like the sun
I can hardly wait for "Remixed" which is gonna kick ass!!

The first time I heard "Try to Forget," I was pretty much hooked. The same thing happened when I heard Mesh's "Trust You." Both of those are really catchy, dancey songs.

Try To Forget, Heart Shaped Tumour, Dress Me When I Bleed and pretty much every song off of Two.
I can't wait to hear the remix album. I have heard a clip of the DJ Ram remix of Dress Me When I Bleed and it was fantastic!

This is very easy for me. "Hear Me Calling" from Monosex pulled me into the De/Vision crowd. After buying the album, "Slaves To Passion" really got my attention...now I enjoy the entire album.

Universed In Loved is one of the first albums I got and one of the best I think in my Opinion. "Void" didn't do to me :-)

That´s an easy one.
The first time I heard De/Vision was on the mix rinse and spin vol 2 cd...(Bought it because of AV) Got very interested in the first track, hear me calling(mesh remix) and after a while I went to the store and ordered Monosex. Hadn´t heard anything from it except hear me calling but I bought it anyway, just because of it´s strange name.

It was Bleed Me White from an internet download. I now have all the albums, and enjoy them all, apart from void.
I have to admit two is not my favorite yet though....

the first song I heard was 'your hands on my skin', was in 1994, listening to a Swedish compilation: 'Electro Revenge'. There was too Beborn Beton and Infam. I knew these three bands at the same time.

I must say that all songs from Zehn could have got me hooked.
They are all incredibly good tracks, love them all. (unfortunately that cd has an accident some year ago and got some schratches...:() However... I know that there are mostly radio versions etc, but still..it´s great. :)

The first D/V songs i heard were "I Regret", "Re-invent yourself" and "Try to Forget". I loved them all, so I bought Void, and then Unversed in Love and then Fairyland...and...and...

I remember listening to the Fairyland album and being in synth-heaven.
I think it was sweet life that got me hooked and then when i heard try to forget it was all over. As much as i love Depeche Mode, Devision is a very very close second.

"Your hands on my skin" got me hooked. Followed by the fantastic track "New Drug" on the Monosex album.

The first De/Vision song that I heard was a MP3 of "Get Over The Wall" that an old friend send me via ICQ. (he dissapeared! Where are you Liav?)
I like the song but not care much, but I bought ZEHN anyway and love all songs, so I became a new fan. : )

Without a doubt: "Blue Moon"
Still one of my Top 5 by the band. Hell, it's one of my all-time favourite synthpop tracks.

It wasn't any particular song, I bought Monosex on a whole bunch of recommendations from people in this newsgroup. I've been hooked ever since :)

I discovered De/Vision a little late with an MP3 sent from a friend that were a big hude De/Vision's fan that want to make me know this band.
For lucky I accept the MP3 of "Get over the wall" and like it, but I'm not really in love with the song, but I take the risk and bought Zehn with Todd and really love the CD and became a De/Vision's fan and bought all albums and some bootlegs.
Strange that De/Vision never reached Brazil, when other German's bands not so much famous like De/Vision made a strong success here like Moskwa TV, Alphaville & Celebrate The Nun.

Ops, I already had replied this thread long time ago. Sorry. :)

Few years ago I listened to several songs but never quite got into them until I listened to Your Hands On My Skin, from there to Try To Forget, Dress Me When I Bleed and then so on.

i'm a bit surprised it hasn't been mentioned yet, so i'll have to do it myself. the song that really got me into de/vision was heart of stone from monosex. hearing that song made me want to buy all their albums. my all-time favourite though is blue-moon. sound a bit like a broken frame might have sounded if dm had begun making music at the same time as de/vision.

I heard Try To Forget on the Mix Rinse and Spin sampler and then bought Zehn when it was first released. Every song on that ruled, but I must say 'Regret' surpassed anything that I was listenting to at that time (Fantastic song, isn't it?)

slave to passion got me into devision.. i have this album where only two of them are left, and the album is really slow and boring.. i think it's called two or duo or something. anyway, it's just plain boring.. it's like Devision's The Fragile
