The swedish band "Backlash" is getting licensed by Nilaihah records, and a version of their debut "Impetus" is coming out in early august (its the swedish version + tracks from the Blind EP).
I was unfamiliar with them until recently, and now I'm wondering why. They are, in a word, excellent.
Really good catchy synthpop, with nice triphop overtones and good uses of gritty sounds, and really excellent vocals.
So, yeah, it's worth checking out, definitely. Unless you already have the album, in which case you know what I'm talking about.
