Friends,

The latest news from the IRIS camp:

Reagan has been in the studio, all week, recording final vocals for the upcoming "Awakening" album. We're pretty far along, and most of the tracks are approaching the final mixdown and mastering stages. The album will most likely be released in two versions, the regular jewel-case version, and a special 6-panel limited edition digipak, of which only 1,000 copies will be pressed.

The first single, "Unknown" is slated to come out (hopefully) by the end of July. There will be many interesting and genre-straddling remixes, and a possible b-side.

There will potentially be a video shoot, as well, for either the first or second single - we'll keep you posted. (MTV2, here we come, baby)

Show updates:

DETROIT - July 27 - St. Andrew's Hall, with Neuroactive, System 22, and Cosmicity

We're still working on the dates for other cities, and we'll post as soon as they are confirmed.

Wow a video and now that I also have MTV2 I can hope that it will get played.
