die form re-issues

I like a lot of Die Form stuff...I can't claim that I'm a huge fan, but I really dig them a lot...I have their two cd best of, and the Rain Of Blood mcd :) And from what I hear, the re-issues are very good...So Joel, is Poupee Mecanique the one to get??? Is that the album that originally had the song Automatic Love???

I think it is Automatic Death I'm thinking about, it's a long day today...

Die Form are one of the greatest fetish bands, in my humble opinion. I have been a fan of both the photography and music of Philippe Fichot for quite some time. I couldn't even tell you a favorite song or album as they're all pretty much masterpieces in their own rights (though "Sex by Force" on the Die Puppe album is up there). I'm glad the albums are finally being re-mastered and re-released, they were difficult to track down, domestically anyway.

As for the song "Automatic Love", which is actually "Automatic Love 2" does exist. It was released as a limited edition on 7" split vinyl with The Nuns in 1998. To the best of my knowledge, you can still pick this up. It can also be found on the "Rain of Blood" CD maxi.

and yeah.. in my opinion.. Poupee Mecanique and Duality are the two albums to get.. although i have to have all of them.

Corpus Delecti is also a favorite of mine.

as for remixes.. get the Silent Order remix cd.. VERY VERY nice!

Corpus Delecti is a great band. They're from Nice, France! Roma, Sebastian, and the crew are just lovely! They have a really good stage show as well. I love when Sebas starts off with a blood-curdling scream!

Die form, have everything they have put out! It's easier to get their stuff in Europe I guess! Another Great French band and great show as well!

Another good French band that I recommend are: Deviate Ladies..they're old school, but I love it! Check it out if you like goth!
