A quick question for NoirTech: I saw on the Now Playing playlist the following song. Neuropa - Heavens Descent. Is this the song from "Alternate Faith - The Mixes" or the original off of "Sins of the Heart"? If so what did you think of either CD?

I love "Beyond Here and Now" and I really should look into getting some more Neuropa. Some really great songs from a really cool band. Favorites "True Believer" "Skin Deep" "In Need". The vocals are right on, the lyrics are more then skin deep, and the instruments/synths are very cool. :)

In my opinion, in comparison to all current synthpop bands, Neuropa is one of the best. The vocals are perfect, the hooks are effective, the songwriting is consistently reliable, and the musicianship is superior.

true true.. they are surely of the greatest bands out there.. it's hard to pick a favorite track since they are.. like depeche in a way.. there's to many good songs, and none of them.. is.. hmm how should i say.. extraordinary? no one is better than the others.. with most bands, you can say "this is the HIT" but.. with these bands.. naww.. to many of them. but... again is a favorite though.. the original version.. it even made me cry sometimes :D

I really like Neuropa. I found them on mp3.com a few years ago. "Again (Twilight Mix)" was the first song I heard. To me, they sound like a hybrid of the Pet Shop Boys and Erasure. More specifically, Neil Tennant singing Vince Clarke songs. I have Sins of the Heart and Alternate Faith. I highly recommend both.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jason Last (and Joey of Echoing Green and Todd Durrant) at the synthpop show ADD put on in NY a few years ago. To me, Neuropa's set was one of the highlights.

Yes, Neuropa is great. I sent them an email over a year ago and actuallty got a response from Jason, lead singer! We have been communicating ever since. I have Sins of the Heart and Alternate Faith and they both made me a true fan. Simply great albums! They should be releasing a double cd of their first two albums(New Faith & Sins of the Heart)remastered. Beyond Here and Now(album) is awesome. Jason sent me the original sheet he wrote New Day on, which is on that album...a very beautiful song indeed! I believe I put images up on this forum showing the sheet with the lyrics to that song...
