If I absolutely HAVE to eat fast food, I lean towards Harvey's, because it comes the closest to looking/tasting like actual food. Greasy as hell though, and terrible for you.

I used to work at Wendy's. It's hell. The entire fast food industry is wholesale slavery of pimply teenagers. Soul-crushing.

Nah. We try going to Taco Bell sometimes, since its a hell of a lot closer to my house than Del Taco is but they continueously mess up my orders. You tell them NO MEAT and you get home and what do you have on your food? MEAT!

Oh and Jack in the Box doesn't consider bacon to be meat for some reason. I asked for a Sourdough Jack with NO meat and they still put bacon on it. When did bacon not become meat?

For anyone that's interested.... check out "Fast Food Nation" by Eric Schlosser. It paints a fairly objective portrait of the rise of the McWorld so to speak.

Anyway... my achilles heal is definately a triple stack at Wendy's. NOthing better than a night of sex0r followed by a trip to the 24 hour overpass oasison I-294 at 3 in the morning with both you and your partner's hair messed up. :D

I use to like Subway will all the cheap ass Pakistanis started taking over the chain. They have a tendancy to cut EVERY corner on a simple sandwich and some how charge you more money. Damnit

So... today... if I get fast food. (once every 1-2 months now) I feel the least guilty by going to Arby's. Das some quality roast beef.

I've been to the Mc'd's meat processing plant in Oklahoma City. Very clean. The Nat'l stockyards are scary though. Poor little moo moo's packed together. I eat beef, but I still wish they could treat them a bit more humanely until the end...but economically it's not possible :(

As for fast food, blech, but i'd give my vote to Arby's. I love their onion peels and sub sandwiches.

I don't eat fast food. Actually....it's really really unhealthy for me. I tend to have a low carb meal.....but....if I really have to have fast food due to not being able to eat anywhere else....and IF I had a choice,....I would go to Popeyes.

Actually, today, due to lack o time before heading out to a meeting, I grabbed Mc'd's, it's right behind my building. I had their new - flat bread chicken sandwich thingy. It wasn't bad - almost like real food. Scary. At least my stomach hasn't rebelled yet :P And when did Mc'd's start carrying flavored ice cream (mint, butterscotch?, and brownie parfaits.. Is this everywhere or just Chitown?

Yeah, they've had the weird ice cream flavors for a while at McDonald's. While we're talking about Mickey D's, ever since they introduced the new chicken strips with "100% white meat," their Chicken McNuggets have become 100% dark meat. Go figure. :mad:

If it's the one I remember, it's on Maine in Huntington Beach across from the pier...Not bad stuff, if you like seafood...

Personally though, I'm a local loving man myself...In 'N' Out and Tommy's, are cardiac arresting/ardery clogging heaven !!! :D

Man... When I was in Hollywood last November (on vacation for the 16VOlt show at the Whiskey)... I completely forgot to check out the In and Out burger. I've heard so much about that chain and it seems that all food critics along with all the federal programs (FDA adn OSHA especially) all agree whole heartedly that the In and OUt burger is the best fast food chain in the country.

you live in Baldwin Park? haha i worked for In-N-Out for 7 years....a manager for 3 years...managers there make bank!!! i loved that company...and after 7 years, i NEVER got sick of the food...it's all fresh and it's so damn good....YUM!

I generally don't eat fast food as it gets me rather really sick.. too
much chemical substitues and processing involved. Taco Bell almost KILLED me on one trip to the US. I prefer to cook my own meals..I'm a pretty gifted cook (if you don't mind me tooting my own horn..at least that what people have told me!!)! If I do eat out, it's usually at a quality restaurant..something ethnic like Asian or Indian, etc.! When I visited California for SynthCon`02, we went to a Thai place called Toi (I think it's spelled that way), which that food was brilliant! Their veggie curry with a side of steamed rice ..oohhhhh.....heaven! We also ate Ethiopian..that was interesting! You mates have a lot of good restaurants in Cali! Kudos!

When I eat fast food, I usually go for Arby's. As for real meals, my favorite place in the world was The Pasta House. Yet, they shut down :( Too cheap for too good of food I guess. Macaroni Grill is my new favorite.

have you heard of Gordon Biersche or BJ's both make home made beers but really really good... Another fav of mine is The Cheesecake Factory, mmmm the best quesadillas is there.... Thai Food is always good, mmmm Thai BbQ. Chinese food, mmmm mongolian beef...

i don't eat meat so if i'm fast-foodin' it i get a veggie sub at subway (still with da BBQ sauce!)

back in my meaty days i had no favs and i devoured anything whether it was rotten ronny's or whatever. i was 145 pds when i moved away from home and ballooned to 195 thanks to all that. i'm much healthier nowadays i'm happy to say.
