Loveboat ??? I have not heard it.
Has anyone heard the version of Enough is Enough (made famous by Barbara Striesand and Donna Summer) performed by Andy Bell and KD Lang? It is really good, it is on the Coneheads soundtrack.

I didn't particularly care for Loveboat at all, but others have raved about it. I've revisited it at times, but it still doesn't do anything for me.
Zoe makes an interesting point:
cowboy (it gets a lot of points because of the memories)
Emotional attachments to songs/albums that correlate to specific times in a person's life can totally color that person's opinion of a song/album. I know that's true for me. There are songs I used to love that I can't listen to anymore. There are also times that I can listen to a song with my eyes closed and be transported back to a specific time in my life.
I had a particular attachment to Wild! when I was a freshman in college. Listening to songs from that remind me of a room, a woman, and a scent that have left a scar that has, over time, faded away.

Chorus and Erasure are my two favorites. The ''Erasure'' album in particular was very unique with all of it's longer playing songs and dark, atmospheric feel. Kind of reminds me of a Pink Floyd album in concept. Very memorable.

I totally agree Cheetah!! I think the "Erasure" album is much like a Pink Floyd album. The instrumentals are great...

My top 10? Ohh what a hard choice ...
1) Chorus
2) I Say, I Say, I Say
3) Erasure
4) Cowboy
5) The Circus
6) Wild!
7) Wonderland
8) The Innocents
I've excluded remix compilations, CD singles, and EP's from this ... and I also have yet to hear "Loveboat".
A lot of people didn't like "Erasure" but you know, I thought it was one of the most inventive releases by the duo in a LONG time. I would LOVE to get sounds like that out of my equipment.

the best erasure albums in my opinion:
erasure: because it's the most experimental (and it works superply). the one album where erasure really manages to combine their catchy songs with a chilling melancholic mood.
chorus: because it's their most mature album with their best songs ever (quite simply).
the innocents: because it's their greatest straight-foreward pop album.
loveboat: because they dared to renew themselves and because the flood-production is excellent.
... and the worst album (please don't kill me): cowboy
- because the songs just aren't as strong as on previous efforts.

My all time fav Erasure record has to be "I SAY I SAY I SAY"
WHY?-Just The memories tied to that cd. The songs are very deep and the instrumentionis awesome. MY 2nd fav is Chorus..Have heard some of loveboat and not sure if i like it. Have to let it songs grow on me i guess.
I mean just because you like a band doesnt mean you have to like everything they put out.People go through various changes and stages in their live that effect mood and creavity.
