Finally summer has arrived in this part of the world. What do you do for a real summer-in-the-city-feeling apart from having breakfast on the balcony, watching the WC on public big screens, going down to the river and eating tons of ice cream?

Sit out on my patio late at night, enjoy the warmth, and hope someone creeps out of the shadows and kidnaps me.

Cute NW. I've been opening all the windows, my apt is right on top of a huge pond, with a fountain, so it's awesome to let the sound of the fountain lull me to sleep. Other than that, I've let my kitty on the patio for the first time. I still think she's convinced she's bigger than the geese. Much supervision required :D
Let's see, what else.. Oh yes.. went riding on the back of a friend's motorcycle - much fun, but bad in a skirt.

Stay in doors. Dear lord, it's HOT overe here. More reason to move to Orange County. Stupid desert. Oh well, what can one do. Job is keeping me here. Wish it wasn't.

NoirTech, isn't it like 852 degrees over ther in sunny AZ? :p

At least you won't suffer the humidity that we do here in NY. Sometimes it's like walking outside and feeling like you're underwater!

And Frank's gonna have to lug his equipment around in it.

Yes! It feels like 852 degrees right now. Think it might reach 860 today though. heh.
You are right though, no humidity...until the mansoons hit. Stupid Tucson and it's weird weather. Once...it snowed on Easter...that was a trip.

Yes, summer music is making its way into my car..The Cars (good for driving to the beach), Erasure (I Say I Say I Say..good for warm, quiet evenings...also works when in front of a fire while snowing in the winter), St. Etienne (So Tough album), Naked Eyes, Peter Gabriel, etc.

@ djstargazer: You can crash on my couch in Hamburg, if you want to... Usually summer lasts for two weeks over here, and then it's back to wind and rain again! Never leave the house without an umbrella over here...

I am so messed up. I go to school in the winter in the south loop of CHicago thru the rain, sleet, high winds, ice and snow. While in the beautiful sunny summer... Ive been in my basement for like... 6 days straight now.

I thnk I saw outside during the Cubs game. It looked kinda nice.

The Cars issued a new/improved greatest hits album which I recently acquired on CD. It has everything you need to make a warm, sunny day feel extra summer-y...everything from "You're All I've Got Tonight" and "Moving In Stereo" to "Hello Again" and "You Are The Girl".
