I've recently seen an interview with Marian Gold on TV and got the impression that he really isn't the smartest bloke at all... I love his music and his vocals, but he seems to be quite arrogant. True??

I can't comment on that one, I've only seen one interview from way back in 1984, and he was so excited about the release of Forever Young worldwide that he just smiled a lot, and talked about that...
Where's Avil when you need her *LOL* ??? :)

Iīve met him twice and I must say that he is very nice to talk to if you are alone with him (not too many people around will say)
I was so scared that time and he just calmed me down and so.
But the second time I met him, about a month ago, he was surrounded with many many people and he didnīt really have time for you then. He didnīt give you any attention and thatīs understandable. Even though AV isnīt on the lists anymore he still is a quite big person...

I actually talked with him a few times when we were opening for Alphaville in Brazil. He seems a bit quiet a first but I remember we shared a ride back to the hotel and we talked about synthpop and what bands we both liked. He is actually a very cool guy but very focused on what he is doing so I can see why some might think he is vain. He stayed in his hotel room alot and didn't come out much. We did party with his bandmates every night and they were hella cool guys! Oh yea from our conversation he likes De/Vision, Anything Box and Agnes Poetry.
Oh yea, he is definetly not dumb!

AGNES POETRY. Ahh, just have to write something when I hear their name mentioned. :-) Too bad they seem to be busy doing other project and abandoning Agnes Poetry project right now.
If you guys haven't checekd out their latest album "Leave The Light On", you don't know what you're missing, guys. Cheers !!
P.S: BNW, when are you guys are gonna come out with a new album? I can't wait for that !

Agnes Poetry opened for Alphaville in Salt Lake City and AV was impressed of what they heard. :)
The members of the live band are really cool people, even though a couple of them have headed for new horizons (!)
I was 14 the first time I met them, and they wanted to give me wine...lol :D
But Marian is a really nice man when you meet him in person (even though Bernhard is more nice...)
