Well, I still don't know how to attach a picture, so I am just as behind as you.

When did you take your picture?

Really? I thought I was one of the last one earth! Well, don't feel bad though b/c I think it was sheer dumb luck that I was able to post a pic. I think I can post one at a time, and I'm not sure I can post alot of pictures at once. I still don't know how it works.

That picture is from the Anything Box/Echoing Green show in San Jose mid-May.

More pictures please! :)

Where the hell was this performance? It looks like they're playing outside the concert hall instead of inside. ;-)

okie dokie. soon as i gots the time marco_spn.

Show Info: The show took place during an automotive charity event billed as one of the largest VW/Audi enthusiast shows in the nation with autocrossing and prizes awarded in various categories. The charity side of it was guests had to donate food to help out. The venue was a NASA Airfield!!!! Moffett Air Field in San Jose to be exact.

The bands performed inside a HUGE hangar dubbed "Hangar One," which didn't work out well for the band. Because of the sheer size and shape of the hangar, both bands could never get the sound right. Everything bounced off the hangar walls. To give you an idea of the size of the hangar, it was 198 ft high, 1,140 ft long, 308 ft across and shaped like a bell.

That's a shame - the acoustics must have been a nightmare.

What's this? Paul with Joey's guitar? I guess Paul broke his string and borrowed Joey's guitar. It was all good in the hood though:

I thought he was the bass player. Turns out "Cheapbeats" is a multi-talented musician. Ask him to play piano for you while juggling 3 balls and he'll probably do it. Don't think he'll be successful, but I bet he'd give it a shot.

Great pictures Ivie5 I remember seeing the writeups on that event. Kinda cool to actually place how bad of a venue it must have been. Oh well at least there was cool music being played. :)

duuuude, not to give too many excuses, but yeah the sound wasn't that great because of that huge masssive and enclosed space they were playing in. that picture of Gary with the building infrastructure in the background tips you off to what it was like.

tomorrow, i'll post a picture of the outside to show how massive it really was!

lemme know if anyone wants to see a couple The Echoing Green shots too. They're not great pics, too far away. Lemme know if you guys want it on the same thread too!

thx,
ivie5
