Polls?

I was strolling thru the FAQ and found that we can make polls. But when I tried to do it I couldnt find the "make poll" checkbox. Is the FAQ out of date or am I stupid? Or both?

The polls are a function reserved for Moderators only.

The FAQ is not Gospel, just a generic guide to the default forum configuration. This site now barely resembles the default VBB forums...
