Mark Nicholas (Cosmicity) - New Album, Video

Do you like music? Me too. Hooray.

I also say hooray to inspirational dance movies from the 1980's, like the classic film Flashdance. That's why I did a cover of one of the most memorable songs from that movie called "Maniac". But since I can't dance, I'm afraid this is what my new music video looks like:

This song was taken from my brand new album "Perversions". Since you said earlier that you liked music and all, I really think you should buy a copy of this CD. It is not in onilne stores yet though. They're slow. Gotta wait a few more weeks for those.

It has the same musical energy, but the video is so slow and non-dynamic when compared to the original that it feels real odd, but I liked it.

Also thanks to the other folks checking it out and saying nice things on here. It is certainly intentional that the video has the opposite energy as the song itself. If I had done something totally maniacal in a song called Maniac , that probably would've been too easy/obvious, don't you think? :-)

That's what makes videos like yours so good. It's almost anti-climatic but that's where the humor comes into play. People kind of expect videos to be nuts these days and in a lot of areas simplicity surpasses extravagance. Needless to say I'm in the same boat as you. Again nice work.
