Melotron//And One at SGTW...Toronto, Canada

Halo Everyone,

Is anyone totally syked that Melotron will be performing at the SGTW (Synthpop Goes The World) event in Toronto, Canada at the end of the month? I for one am excited. And One will also be there and they are super in-concert. I had the pleasure of seeing them live last year during their world tour and it was incredible!
I have never seen Melotron though and I am sooooooooo excited that I'll finally get to hear them! Melotron rocks!! Are any of you guys going to SGTW? See you there!! Nam`arie.

I will be! I was set to go as soon as I found out Melotron was playing, and then Mesh got confirmed and it got even better. My favorite track - Tanz mit dem Teuful. I still need to get the new album. *sniff*

Everything Melotron rocks! "Tanz mit dem Teufel" (Dance with the Devil...english translation) is very good! The whole album
-Fortschritt- is incredible. I am partial to "Endstation im Labyrinth" and "Ginsendel" though, those are my chosen fav's, but the whole ablum is awesome! I am soooo excited!!! Melotron is going to rock the Palais! See you there in Toronto!! Nam`arie!!


P.S. The new album is fantastic...Ausserkraft...Wow!!

I've seen most everyone as well, but doesn't matter - it'll be so nice to see the show with an entire crowd of synthpop fans!

It gives me goosebumps to know that there are other die hard Melotron fans out there that appreciate their music.

I proclaimed myself a fan once I realized that EVERY song and instrumental they made was so diverse, rich and powerful! There are very few albums out there that I can listen to without skipping a track, and Melotron has succeeded to do that on all their LP's, EP's, and singles.

It is indeed an amazing lineup for Synthpop Goes the World. I am most anxious to see Mesh. I think for a number of these bands it is their first time in Canada. Unfortunately Toronto is often overlooked for concerts. I'm not sure if its the work visas or that our money is worthless.

Never in my wildest dreams did ever think I would have the opportunity to see some of these bands live.

I keep thinking I can pick one band over another, and then I start thinking about the other acts, and I get all hyper again.

Of course it doesn't help that my co-workers have just come back from the Int'l Candy Expo in with LOADS of candy. SUGAR High!

ILl be at the Hilton in Missuagua (sp?) hopefully its not too far from the venue. It was the only place my ex-gf could use her Hilton discount at. Oh well... Ill be either at the festival or in some bar the entire time there.

I'll be at the Chelsea (anybody else staying there?). FYI most of the bands will be staying at the Four Points. A EGN meeting sounds like a great idea. I'm up for that . I'm very excited for Melotron as well.

I am not sure where I am staying at the moment. Haven't selected a hotel as yet! May end up staying with some cousins, but I'm not so sure that I'd want to do that and not get to stay out to the wee hours so as not to be impolite! Most likely, I'll choose a hotel within the next few days! I'll have to hire a car as well to see what Toronto has to offer! Can't wait! Melotron << WE ARE COMING!!! >> SGTW will never..ever be the same again!

I've heard that the Days Inn is completely booked and that the Sheraton is almost full as well.

That is correct. I tried booking the Day's Inn a couple days ago, ended up at the Sheraton. I was told I had the last single room available at the Sheraton. Book soon if you want to stay near the venue!

You guyz are lucky... melotron cancelled their Germany tour so it will be a while until we get to see them again. Luckily, in May I was able to see them perform in Poland and hang out with them after the show. Make sure you ppl stay around the bar then you'll be able to chat them up easily! Andy, Edgar and Hilde are the nicest guyz ever!!
