Greetings people. So from everyone who has posted here so far, I think you all know me but here is my introduction anyway for those who may stumble in later that I may not know.
My given name is Chris Halstead, though I go by "seraphim", I've been involved in many scenes and have been attending clubs since the age 16 (so I think I'm a safe judge on what could or couldn't work from a club or event angle), I've also been DJing for a number of years and in the past two years have lent my hand and experience to promoting. Of course the most recent event being SynthCon 01 and the first nine/ten months of SynthCon 02.
I'm really looking forward to exchanging ideas and thoughts with you all.

Hello ...
My name is Bobby Clark, aka B.C.
I come from Luttrell, Tennessee ... a tiny tiny town probably better known musically for Kenny Chesney than the likes of me (I did go to school with Kenny tho ... Really!)
Why am I in the scene? I love synthpop. I thought synthpop had died until I discovered it on mp3.com over a year ago.
Projects: Synthpopalooza Radio. A collection of some of my favorite classic and modern synthpop I have found in my travels in cyberspace. *SynthetiK*: A series of musical collaborations (original music and remixes) between myself and other notables in the synthpop scene.
I have been composing electronic music on my own since way back in 1988 when I started with a cheap Casio SK-1 and a cassette recorder (those were the days). Among my favorites in those days were Erasure, Depeche Mode, and fellow VIP members Red Flag.
My current synthpop resume includes remixes for many artists in the scene, most notably the two remixes that appear on the Red Flag skulls CD. I was also the originator of the USA Tribute to America charity compilation, which is a fundraiser for 9/11 charities.
My likes: Synthpop music which tends to draw from the lighter side of things, but with just a hint of the dark side. Other things I like: Science Fiction TV (Doctor Who, Star Trek, SG-1), the Anaheim Angels (the true synthpop fan's baseball team), Tennessee Volunteers football (GO VOLS!), Milky Way candy bars, and of course my fiancee from New Zealand!
My dislikes: Country music, rap music, overcommercialization of the music scene, most top 40 music, the New York Yankees (overcommercialized), the Florida Gators football team (with a passion), vegetables, and of course, a couple of my ex-girlfriends.
That's it in a nutshell.
