I just purchased the Leiahdorus cd last week after so many people had raved about his music and I am impressed. It has not left my player since then. What great songs and voice. Well-produced, well-written and well...just enjoyable.

I highly recommend this to anyone who has not heard it yet.

I hope that a single of Stars is released where maybe the intentional background noise is cleaned up a little bit. That is a great song. (Todd?)

Let me know if you feel the same or not about this release.

Leiahdorus is an awsome musician. I love Ashes Ashes... and have been provoked to get all the singles(2 of them). The first single Wake has the Wake Video and a really cool b-side Eventually. The second single Indigent has a Color Theory esque b-side Technology, which really rocks. The mixes on all both of the singles are great also.

Enjoy,

I got Ashes, Ashes three weeks ago, and I love it!!! It was even better to be able to see Jason, Joey, and Chrissy play live @ Synthcon...That sealed it for me, I'm already anticipating what he'll come up with next :)

Jason Smith is not only a terrific musician but also a great person! Can't wait to hear more in the future from him. Leiahdorus certainly has a bright future. Kudo's to Joey B's production as well.

Some of the best times I had at SynthCon was when Jason Smith was hanging out with us. That guy just cracked me up all the time. Him and Joey are two of the funniest guys in the scene...without even trying. :-)

No one can describe how overjoyed we were to hear Leiahdorus live! We actually e-mailed Todd a few days before SynthCon when other bands were dropping out to see if he could play! He was going to be there anyway as a background musician! I am just estatic that Jason agreed to play! We were sooooo happy when we heared the fantastic news and even more excited about the event! Jason ...you are a star (no pun intended, mate..hehe), just a very English thing to say! If you do read this, I wish you the very best and much success in the near and distant future! The encore was great.....Pause..( about 1/3 of the song), but we're not complaining at all!! You'll have our support always!
Cheers!!

And even tolerant of my fan girl geeking out! Thus the many pics. heheh.

To PaulSynthpop,

He was one of the -best- highlights of the whole entire event! The beauty of it was, that Leiahdorus was even meant to play until a few days right before SynthCon, to which we were most happy to hear that he had agreed to play! I think many of those people at the event who weren't fans before became L-dorus fans after his performance! He was incredible! One of the best parts of that night was also when he performed the "Wake" re-mix during the Wave In Head performance, which by the way was briliiant as well!

"Ashes Ashes" is one of the best releases of the year for sure. Without a doubt .... the more I listen ... the depth and breadth of Jason's music amazes me. He incorporates many influence's and blends them with emotional lyrics. Damn fine work.

Heh...
I think Meg is probably dying right now. She forgot her Leiahdorus CD in my car. Oh the horror!
Don't worry Meg, I'll mail it back to you as soon as possible.

Yesterday I bought a cd from ADD, I should of picked Leihdorus instead... I'm sure the New Clear Sky record is going to be good too.

Newer, Clearer is great. Nice variety, great production, great programming, great vocals.

Haven't picked up Leihdorus yet... love what I've heard.

It's official...
"Jupiter" is my favorite Leiahdorus song. That's one great song. They should make a video for that one as well. Jason...if you're reading this....fire up the video camera man. This would make a great single.
