HEYY I just got my universal dvd player I bought it at best buy for only $125.00 and I'm Able to see all european DVD's I just got my copy of the camouflage "Rewind" and the new "wolfsheim" a good picture quality just like normal NTSC format. I suggest if you want to watch european dvd's get a univeral dvd player rather than the one you have on your pc it's really cheap and you can watch all of your european synth dvd's. :-) :-) :-)

Or you can check if our TV accept PAL-N format, because almost DVDs can play PAL formats, the problem is your TV.
With a Universal DVD he have like an internal converter that convert to your TV format.
So if you don't want to buy another DVD player, you can got a Trinorma TV (NTSC/PAL-N/PAL-M) to see any DVD in the world without problems.

You're wrong, Hajas. PAL/NTSC isn't the issue, region codes are. It's in the firmware of DVD players to only play DVDs encoded for the region the player is from. So without a universal player, a PAL TV isn't going to do you any good.

Well I have seen the camouflage "rewind" and Wolfsheim "Kompedium" and I'm not using a PAL TV I even transfered from DVD Pal to NTSC and no problem at all. as I said my dvd player can play any PAL DVD without using a Pal TV wich is pretty good and I enjoy it because now I can watch most of my DVD's before I used to pay like $20 to $25 for a video transfer and now I don't. :-)

Ops! I'm not wrong, I only forgot that you aren't in Brazil. :)
All DVD players are multi-region, but all coming programmed by the factory on the respective country to play only the respective area code.
But, all DVD players have an special code that can unlock this.
Here any DVD doesn't have that code, you can't find on the manual or on the DVD's sites or on the Propaganda. But all guys that sell gave us that code to unlock the DVDs. A friend of mine take a call to a factory support and they told him the code.
I don't know how works there, if that laws of area are really serious, because in fact this is forbidden. But try to call to the factory support, maybe them could give you that code.
That's why all theses Universal DVDs are made in Asia. I think there isn't forbidden. I don't know why.
I found many at ebay for very cheap prices in US/UK vendors, all imported from asia. Is very more cheap buy a DVD like that.
But if you already have a DVD, and also want a new and bigger TV, don't need to buy again the DVD, buy only the TV and got the unlock code! : )
That was what happened to me, so I prefer buy a new TV.
It's only another opition. :)
I could give you mine code, but this code is different for each model. : /
but if you want to try anyway, I can give you when I arrive in home.
Cheers from Rio,
Freddy
PS: NoirTech? funny, the best brazilian electronic band was called as "Tek Noir" at the end of 80's. Very nice band!

Get yourself a good cheap DVD player like I did...I got a General Electric player from the local Target store here, and it plays everything from DVD'S, PAL format, cd's, VCD'S, SVCD'S...I only paid $85 out the door...Not on sale either...:) I guess it depends on where you live and what's available, or maybe I just got lucky when I found it...

Hey,
Hajas I live in the U.S but I'm not from brazil probably because of my nick name "niņos del brazil", the name comes from a spanish synth band from Spain :) I think they got the name from a movie called "los niņos del Brazil"

Discovery in DVD? Cool! where you bought that? Was a fantastic show here in Rio, I only have it in VHS.
Scooter released a DVD also? I have all their albums and some singles, aside almost tracks by scooter are so poor (in my opinion) they have many fantastic tracks.
A-ha I already have 2 DVDs, the live show short released and the Headlines and Deadlines (music video collection).
Will be a dream got InSoc at Rock In RIo II in DVD, now an impossible dream. :(
And I know that you aren't in Brazil, I said that because I forgot that in US they don't give the access code to the buyers. :)
Please let me know about PSB DVD, I want that fantastic show in DVD too! :)

NTSC is actually the inferior quality... PAL is better quality... in Australia all our locally released DVD's always have crap bonus stuff, so we need to import DVD's from Europe or America [both different regions] to get all the good stuff. Unfortunately I've got an old TV so I can't watch NTSC stuff, although my DVD player plays NTSC fine... which really sucks as I just got all the episodes of Invader Zim of Video CD and can't watch them...
Damn NTSC.
