if you havent heard of her then be glad and leave it at that. my cousins are obsessed with her. she is a teen kids star with her own tv shows sell out concerts and posters in walmart and toys and all that.
and yes i am super sick of seeing billy ray who is on her shows and all that
he is her dad which is fine but they are all over the place and it is getting annoying when you flip cable channels and for like 3 or 4 in a row you see or hear them.

Oh yes indeed I have heard of her. Her shows are always sold out and there was that story on the news about a mother who lied to get some tickets.

Her image from her TV show and her concert personality are everywhere if you go into Target or Walmart or anywhere else for that matter.

Does not bother me too much though, I would rather see her on then see Oprah all over the place and all of her goings on.

I think her name is Miley Cirus and she is popular as all hell. Her dad looks like the devil with his goatee or whatever that insane crap is on his face. But among teens and such she is a super star.

you guys are going to think i'm on crack... but i love that one song by her "see you again". i did a little research on her when i heard that song and i guess she used shiny toy guns' producer (hence why that track sounds so fun and synthpop-y)

Catchy tune, sounds like she's got some pretty hip writers and producers behind her. Thanks for the link, I had heard some of the HM stuff which is far more tacky but I guess this is her trying to be serious and targeting a "real" pop star career.

I walked into Walmart this weekend and I can say with all certainty that is it flat out obscene how much branding power she has. Clothes, toys, accessories, posters, video games, and so much more so that it is beyond words. Well, good for her I suppose.
