DRM free music for all

Looks like the drm restrictions are now all but gone away. I guess people got sick and tired of being told how to manage the songs but this is sort of a full circle back to open sharing and losses but the music companies wanted to try this anyway. :thumbup1:

Like all copy- protection schemes, DRM is just a hassle for those who buy it legitimately.

I think they all will, eventually. This seemed like an experiment that just flat out failed and now after some time this is becoming clear. So to save face the whole DRM thing will just go away at some point, permanently. There just seems to be no absolute way to protect digital media so find some other way to make prospects.

It hurts the smaller indie bands more than anyone else. The bigger bands will be ok.

i would think that it would the opposite since the small bands cant sell much
they do not have the big fan base
the big bands actually can lose alot with the distribution of the music
they have the big fan base that would just as fast take the music for free

small labels are really in trouble with all of the free crap online
so many russian sites and others that sell full albums for $1
