Hi all.....
After diggin through my past weekends Synthcon purchases, promos from labels & bands, & mail orders that were on my kitchen table upon return..... I think I narrowed down what this Monday's radio show. (The other releases will get their day:)
"One Vortex Beyond" airs every Monday 9am-12pm w/ my self, Kenny. KSCU Santa Clara 103.3fm. (No web broadcast currently)
One hour will be dedicated to Anything Box "Transitions". Featuring music from all their releases, as well as cuts from their 2 latest releases "100 % Air Friendly" EP, & the full length "The Universe Is Expanding".
The following hour will be dedicated to Echoing Green, featuring some previous released tracks, & the latest "Music From The Ocean Picture".
The remainder of the show will include new music from Color Theory's "Life's A Fairytail", & an assortment of tracks from many synth pop acts.
So what do you actually think of the latest Anything Box? I know they have received mucho slack for the work on Electrodelica from a large amount of the fans. Though I have appreciated -all their releases-, "Hope" will continue to be a favorite of mine.
The new one seems like a combo of Beatles & Kraftwerk (like Electrodelica), but w/ pretty simple drumming & a bit more like listening to a more electronic new indie band.
Thanks for the music A Box : )
Kenny
