It's wild to think about it much, but my review site is quickly nearing 3 years of age! It's almost scarey to look at how many reviews I've written in those 3 years.
And I've just finished a new batch of reviews, including:
Merge "Lost In Eternity" MCD
Rational Youth "Singles Box Set" 5 Cd
Kaj "In Your Mind"
Various Artists "A Different Mix Volume 5"
Simulator "Simulator"
Blue October "Preaching Lies To The Righteous"
System22 "Until You Say You Are" MCD
Anything Box "100% Air Friendly"
S.P.O.C.K "Queen Of Space" MCD
Kaleid "286/00 The Best Of Kaleid"
Apoptygma Berzerk "Kathy's Song" MCD
NukleoN "Near Earth Orbit"
Intact "Inner Workings"
Midiboy "Stating The Obvious"
Sista Mannen Pa Jordan "Luft"
For those of you unfamiliar with my site, let me explain. Back in 1999, when I started my site, the main review site for synthpop material, www.awrc.com, had just been shut down. I had been itching to try my hand at a website for a while, and took the opportunity to try and fill the gap that was left when Al's Review Archive passed on. Since that time, I've built up a database of over 100 reviews, covering synthpop old and new. I created the site for one purpose: To help fellow synthpop fans get a idea of what a CD was like before buying it. I had occasionaly bought cd's that looked like they'd be good, only to be disappointed when i heard them. And I wanted to help others possibly avoid that feeling. Hopefully I've suceeded.
