Power Undiminished is killer! Arms is the most intense song.

Hey Midihead, when are we gonna hear some new tracks? Will you play anything new at Synthcon?

Actually, that's funny that you should ask. I was thinking about doing a poll. I've got this burning desire to do a cover tune, yet I don't have the slightest idea of which one to do. How about I open this up for a vote?

For everyone:

If you'd like to see Monolithic do a cover at SynthCon, please post your idea here. Meanwhile, in answer to your question of when Monolithic will release something new....the answer is yes. As for SynthCon, I may do one new tune not yet heard by human ears.

Thanks for your comments Rodent.

I really enjoyed the cover of But Not Tonight from Paradigm.

Will you be able to play Soul Flight maybe? That's another cool song.

Well, I certainly have a ton of ideas for songs for you to do. However, since I've been on a bit of a Heaton/Rotheray kick of late, maybe "Perfect 10" off of Quench? It has a wonderful message . . . . Or you could always go with "Happy Hour Again" or "Me and the Farmer."

I'd love to hear "Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirate's Life For Me".

Please?

A pirates life for me.....hmmmm. I'll leave that one for Andy Bell. I can see him now...."Arrr Matey", he says as he's approaching you from behind in that pink tu-tu he always wears when he performs. Now there's a picture I'm sorry I painted.

Seriously, though it looks like I'll be re-making a couple of old Paradigm classics. One of them performed by popular demand. I think I'll bag the cover tune, I'm running out of time.
Non the less, it will prove to be a good set.....especially since I've got a couple of surprise guests performing with me. Oh the suspense!

>ahem<

What about something really really old like "Don't Bring Me Down" by ELO or "Like a Virgin" by Madonna?:D

How about something from Vitamin Z or Propaganda?

Or what about a cover from one of two really old Utah synth bands, Onyx or X-Effect?:D Adam's "Skateboarding is Not a Crime" would sound great with trancie drumloops and synth leads, don't you think, Midihead?

I love Alphaville very much,so it would be fun to hear you do a cover of e.g. Forever Young.
