Funny. Just read this and the part about them getting a #1 track on ITunes and getting dissmissed by the "scenesters". Just like it has always been in this gig. Jealous bands who have not done the same and or types that failed at something else related will always do that to those that have succeeded. But the real problem in this scene was (was not is cause the scene is dead) that these types were the most vocal and the most damaging where the rest just stood idle and silent and hence these "scenesters" helped kill the scene with their vitrol.

Well, we felt that too at the time and were thinking how comments like that only serve to destroy and not support anything positive .... ah well, at least we got recognition from John Carpenter and his publishers as we're fans of his ..

Nice read. I had listened to the songs on here like Hand on the Gun from years ago. Congrats on the ITunes ranking and John Carpenter stuff. Didnt you guys do something with Bronski or did I miss that? Thought I read that on some other forum, but maybe it was someone else.
As for the scene stuff it did suck to read all the crap from those #$#@! when synthpop was just blooming and things on this site used to be real popping with lots of new music being made all the time before all that got like that. Sad indeed.

Cheers for the feedback ... we can't grumble in that we've at least been able to keep active with releases etc .... :thumbup1:
Yes, I've worked with Steve Bronski with my 'other' band The Garland Cult .... nice thing to do, as Bronski beat had a terrific sound ....
No worries either if ESH aren't peeps cup of tea ... I never mind people having opinions and choices and tastes about our songs and music, as it's a free world afterall (thank fully) ..
Regards,
Aidan
