Does anybody here have this? I am thinking of moving on from "terrestrial radio" and getting one of those receivers in my car. I guess there are really two choices here, XM and Sirius and I wanted to ask if someone here has any one of these services, how would you rate their programming and any other information on which one to choose would be awesome.

I've got Sirius and I like it.

The reception is great, their HW is nice and I have a unit that I can move from my car and into the house with a docking station in each place.

There are lots of music stations and even some that play the stuff I like. I think they were going to join with XM but don't think that ever happened. It is not expensive either, I think I pay like $150 each year or so.

Peace!

That is what I am hearing from others too, Sirius seems to be the best choice. Their receivers look pretty cool too, like the S50 etc.

Get Sirius without a doubt. After all, they have the Howard Stern show, no?

My dad has Sirius in his car too. It has a great selection of stations, like 22 is New Wave with some really good music on it. From what I have seen and hear I would recommend it.

Well now I am looking for a new car and several have the Sirius package so this may be a done deal one way or another. Either way I think I am safely on to satellite radio.
