Dear friends,
We've added a brand new Empire State Human track on to our myspace page.
It's called "Ghosts In America" and will feature on the next studio album "Audio Gothic".
We've already added two onto the ESH page on EGN called "Camera" and "Audio Gothic". We will be announcing a new band member (a girl) very soon ...... watch this space ....

It's about the returning souls lost in various wars, returning home. Wandering the land and wondering why. I stop at saying it's an anti-war song but it's certainly a social comment one .. thanks for taking the time out to listen :)

I like this.
Even though I am more into harsher synths and EBM styles this is a nice synthpop track. Shame that more artists aren't doing this sort of sound much anymore.

Yea too bad. There used to be quite a lovely gathering of bands and fans that were into synthpop on here. I too like some synthpop, intermixed with AC/DC and Rush of course :)
I have been reading some threads in the archived forum here and things were hopping big time a few years ago.

I suppose times do change and tastes too. There isn't another song on the new album that sounds like this song, other are either harder or more electro or plain pop sounding. It's nice to vary things of course ..... EG use to have much more synthpop related artists here, a fewwew years back but I think true synthpop bands are dying out now as is the scene and sounds.
Cheers for the feedback guys ... :)

Excellent track Aidan! I'm a die hard fan of that style of synthpop anyway. Keep up the good work.
Everytime I see your groups name..I am forced to go listen to old Human League!! LOL! ESH is one of my fave songs they ever did. Have you heard the Marsheaux cover of it? They did a pretty good job!
