The legendary synthpop band SOVIET is back, after a long hiatus. Some of you might remember the band form their heyday in New York City's Electroclash scene, with songs like Commute, Marbleyezed, and Candy Girl.
These days, it's a solo project of frontman Keith Ruggiero, but their new website is up: http://www.sovietbot.com ... also available to purchase on the site are the first two SOVIET albums ... The classic "We Are Eyes, We Are Builders" album from 2001, and the followup album "Spies in the House of Love", originally finished in 2003 but unreleased until now.
