My regards to the community. I already have a taste of music as I played Saxophone for 6 years and sang in choir for 5. I want to have my fingers going on an acoustic guitar. I already own 2. . I was wondering if anyone could tell me a good way to start out. What should I be doing, etc... That kind of stuff. Any advice would be great.

Thanks<o:p></o:p>

The most important thing would be to get your fingers strong and used to pushing the string to the frets. So start out with simple exercises that get you used to both holding the guitar and playing simple note sequences over and over. There is so much more to follow but that is one of the first steps IMO.

If you want to learn acoustic guitar (http://www.hotstrings.net/order.php?cat_id=2)I think that the best going would be to get an online source.<o>:p></o>:p>

Uh.....I think most people over here at EGN are more inclined to be into synths/keyboards and the like. I'm sure there are lots of good places to get info on acoustic guitars on the net. good luck!
