I saw a really cool video for what appeared to be a synthpop artist called Ignatius Jones called "Like a Ghost." I recently picked up the 12" from ebay and found it to be amazing. I heard that their might be a full length CD from Ignatius Jones or LP floating around out there.

Anyone know any information on Ignatius Jones? Better yet does anyone have the full length disc or lp? If so, please email me for possible trade.

Thanks,
Scotty M

Funny, I saw that video about 6 months ago and jumped on the internet looking for the release. Turns out, there isn't one. It was just a 45.

Ignatious was part of a punk band that did overly sexual acts on stage. His band's songs are NOTHING like the song you heard. There is no more.

I'm curious, I can't find info on Wikipedia on Steve Kilbey doing the song but I did find his video release on YouTube that dated back to the early 1990s... However Ignatius Jones did his version back in the early 1980s. I'm not disputing your (Fen's) statement that Steve Kilbey did the song first but could you clear up the dates? One of your links above states that Steve Kilbey also did the song in 1989 but that is still years after Ignatius Jones did it. What I'm looking for are any "official sites" such as the actual recording studios, production companies, and/or labels that were used for both versions that include validated dates. That way I could be sure who actually wrote the song first.
