February 27th 2004 will mark the much anticipated re-release of FRONT 242's cult debut-album "Geography" in a special 2CD deluxe digipak, limited worldwide to only 4000 numbered copies!!!
All buyers of this release through www.alfa-matrix.com will automatically take part in a special lottery that will occur come March 2004: one lucky customer will be selected at random to win the most desired numbered CD of this limited edition, the coveted “0242” copy, plus 10 additional CDs from the Alfa Matrix catalogue.
Additionally, Alfa-Matrix will present the first 500 orders of “Geography [limited] a special New Year’s gift! The first 500 purchases made through the Alfa-Matrix on-line shop, will also receive one FREE full length CD label compilation entitled "Sounds From The Matrix 001", a collection of music that will NOT be available anywhere else on the market, featuring 1 track per artist on the label, including some rare & unreleased material. (final track list will be posted on our website in the next weeks)
Disc One of FRONT 242's "Geography [limited]" will include each track of the original album completely remastered and remixed with current technology while staying faithful to the spirit of the original versions, plus the bonus track "He runs too fast for us" which did not appear on the original LP back in the early eighties.
Disc Two will feature a full CD of early previously unreleased tracks, demo's, try-outs, versions... in short: material which constitutes the layers on which FRONT 242 was constructed. Final track list shall be confirmed soon on our website.
