Dear music activist,
2004 will be the year of revOlution for the Brussels based magazine Side-Line which has been recognised by the BBC as being the ultimate international source of information on the underground music scene, but also and especially by the thousands of staunch readers and hundreds of record labels and other music organisations.
On January 1st 2004, your favourite on-line source of information www.side-line.com will turn into a FREE full on-line music magazine for our ever-growing e-community (over 20,000 subscribers to date), with apart from the daily newsfeeds and charts, now also CD reviews, interviews and special articles.
This move was motivated by our intention to provide our readers with the freshest and hottest news & information in the shortest delay possible that we could afford. This way we no longer need to wait for the publication deadline of our print magazine to deliver news and we also again guarantee an improved service to labels and organisations who chose side-line as international partner to promote their releases or events.
Before rumours start to run the globe over and over again, we insist on the fact that we will of course continue publishing our Side-Line print magazine! From our 46th issue on, due to be released in January 2004, the content of our print magazine will be based on a new editorial concept, making the magazine the perfect complementary to our www.side-line.com portal. It will feature longer extended interviews with the selected artists of the quarter, and larger photographs, and instead of publishing myriads of cd reviews, we will offer you our own selection of reviews amongst the essential releases of the season.
In short, in 2004: www.side-line.com + Side-Line print magazine will join forces to become the quintessential information service for the underground music scene.

Format: JPG mid-quality at least! Quality 8 is fine.
Resolution: 200 dpi to 300 dpi. No more, no less.
Mode: Grayscale.
Please never forget adding 3mm bleeding on left, top, right and bottom of your advertisement. You cannot put important graphic elements or texts in the bleed because it will be cut after printing; fill the bleed with the background image/colour.
We do the layout of the magazine on a Mac but we can also normally open all types of PC files.
